Our garden is open under the National Gardens Scheme. It is one of over 3300 gardens which opens in this way. The purpose of the scheme is to raise money for charity and a list of charities supported and further information about donations can be found on their web site. All entrance fees charged by us are sent to the scheme.

The Hardy Plant Society exists to stimulate interest in growing hardy herbaceous plants.
Fifty years ago a group of gardeners and nurserymen joined together to help conserve older, rarer and more unusual hardy plants, to make them more widely available to gardeners. Today around 10,000 members worldwide enjoy a wide range of activities for the enthusiastic hardy planter.
