News from Maspin House

Open Days 2007 - Thurs June 21st & Sunday June 24th.
We have previously opened in September to display Autumn colour but this year we opened in June when the garden is probably at its most dramatic. Thursday was showery but with tea available under cover our 51 visitors all had a good time.
Sunday morning started good but once again showers developed later. The showers did not deter our 110 visitors from having a good experience - the garden was looking superb for the occasion.

It rained but we all had a great time. See the pictures !

A privately owned and maintained country garden of about 3 acres. It has been developed over 25 years. The garden is open under the National Garden Charity Scheme and is very popular with visitors. It is a very varied garden and has multiple garden rooms, ponds, water features including rill, woodland with stumpery. Lots of wildlife, which is encourged by the open design. The major speciality of the garden owner is the range of plants and the way they are grouped for colour co-ordination. There is easy parking. Please browse our website for further information. Group visits welcome by appointment.
